To provide the best possible service and ensure a high level of information, we have developed a guide to our different models. The guide is being expanded continuously, but we have initially focused on our cargo shorts, cargo knickers and cargo pants .

FITS

Molecules models come in three different fits :

• Baggy – Loose fit with good freedom of movement.
• Regular – Classic fit, neither too loose nor too tight.
• Fitted – Tight fit, often smaller in size.

This means that you can wear size M in one model and size XL in another. We always recommend using the size guide associated with the individual product, or contacting our support if you are in doubt about your size.

MODELS

Molecules models can be recognized by their item number. For example, the number 45020 indicates that the model belongs to the 45 series . There are both men's and women's models , so it is important to be aware of this.

45 SERIES MEN

(45020 Originals Shorts – 45056 Drawn Togethers Knickers – 45019 Comfy Combats Pants)

• Made of 100% heavy duty cotton - strong and durable fabric.
• Plastic zippers and olive green reinforcements.
• Baggy fit – sits loosely on the body if the right size is chosen.

45 SERIES LADIES

(45046 Wahinis Shorts, 45041 Riptail Combats Pants, 45062 Low Cut Combats Pants)

• Produced in 100% heavy duty cotton , like the men's models.
• Fitted fit – tight and small in size .
• Low waist – Low Cut Combats in particular have a very low waist.

45 SERIES UNISEX

(45038 Basic Combats)

• Made of 100% heavy duty cotton .
• Regular fit .
• Has an external lace closure at the waist as well as a regular zipper and button closure.

50 SERIES MEN

(50007 Cruisers Shorts – 50006 Kickflips Knickers – 50005 Ankle Busters Pants)

• Made of 100% heavy duty cotton .
• Metal zipper and solid-colored details.
• Baggy fit (except model 50008, which has a regular fit ).

54 SERIES AND 50008 MEN

(54001 Cyclones Shorts, 54002 Board Pants, 50008 Stitched Combats Pants)

• Regular fit with unique button details.
• Fewer pockets than the 50 series (no zipper pocket at the thighs).
• 50008 has extra leg length , but is otherwise similar to the 54 series.

55 SERIES MEN

(55001 Dual Feather Shorts – 55002 Featherweights Shorts – 55003 Outdoor Lightweights Pants)

• Made of ripstop material (known as parachute fabric).
• Lighter and more breathable than heavy duty cotton.
• Hidden buttons for a more minimalist look.

62 SERIES

(62009 Shortcuts Shorts – 62005 Heavy Outdoors Pants)

• Made of 100% heavy duty cotton .
• Fitted fit – gives a lighter feel despite the heavy fabric.
• Limited series with unique details .

SIZE GUIDE

As a supplement to the model guide, you will find a size guide with the measurements under each product:

• Waist width
• Length from top to bottom
• Length from top to crotch
• Width at knee and ankle

The size guide is displayed in both CM and INCHES , and you can choose between EU, UK and US sizes .

Note:

• The size guide is indicative , as the thickness of the fabric can affect the size.
• The products are handmade and the size may vary 1-2 cm from the guide.

HOW DO I FIND THE RIGHT MODEL?

1. Choose between :

   • Shorts
   • Knickers (¾-length pants)
   • Pants

2. Choose fit :

   • Baggy – Loose fit with good freedom of movement.
   • Regular – Normal fit.
   • Fitted – Tight-fitting model.

3. Find your unique goals (A, B and C) :

   • Use our measuring guide video to measure correctly.

4. Use the filtering function on the website to search for models, colors and sizes.

GENERAL INFO ABOUT CARGO SHORTS, CARGO KNICKERS AND CARGO PANTS

Our cargo shorts, knickers and trousers are durable and of high quality . With proper care, they can last for many years.

Maintenance:

• Buttons and zippers should be handled with care.
• Use the right size and a belt to protect the material.

Materials:

• Heavy duty cotton – Strong and durable.
• Ripstop cotton – Lightweight and breathable.
• Color variations – Camouflage colors are often thicker in the fabric.
  

 

WASHING GUIDE

All our shorts, knickers and trousers are made of 100% cotton , whether in the strong "Heavy Duty" cotton fabric or the lighter "Ripstop" (also known as parachute fabric).
The materials are heat-treated before delivery and will not shrink in the wash if you follow the instructions correctly.

WASH

To maintain the fit and color, we recommend the following before washing:

✅ Empty all pockets – Avoid items that could damage the fabric.
✅ Close zippers and buttons – Protects both the clothes and the washing machine.
✅ Turn inside out – Minimizes wear and maintains color longer.

💡 Note!
New products may contain residual dyes , so we recommend that you wash them together with similar colors and materials to avoid discoloration.

BLEACHES

🚫 Avoid bleach and similar chemicals as they can damage the fabric and affect the color.

RECOMMENDED WASHING TEMPERATURE

• Max. 60°C , but we recommend 40°C to extend the life of the clothes.

Tumble dryers & drying

• The garment can be tumble dried at low heat .
• If hanging clothes to dry, avoid direct sunlight as it can fade the color.

IRONING

✔ All models can be ironed at medium heat .

HOW DO I FIND MY UNIQUE GOALS?

To find the right model and size, it is important that you know your unique measurements. These measurements are used in the size guide associated with each model.

HOW TO FIND YOUR GOALS

1. Preparation

   • Lay your shorts or pants flat on a table.
   • Make sure they are freshly washed, buttoned and zipped up so that the measurements are correct.

2. Measure your pants

   Waist (A)

   • Measure across the inside of the waist without stretching the fabric.
   • Write down the goal.

   Length (B)

   • Measure from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the pant leg.

   Fit (C)

   • Measure the distance from the waistband to the seam below the crotch.
   • This measurement shows whether the model is baggy or tight-fitting.
